Liverpool is a small town which is actually a borough located in the Perry County in the state of Pennsylvania located on the banks of the Susquehanna River and the Pennsylvania Canal. It is started out as a small plot of land which later expanded and grew into a commercial centre because of its proximity to the waterways of the Pennsylvania Canal. The city boasts of an excellent bus service which not only serves the local needs but also connects it to the other parts of the country. The climate of Liverpool varies from being cold in winters to hot and humid in summers.

Liverpool is a treat for tourists who would be interested in taking a trip down the memory lane. Some of the main historical buildings are the Liverpool Town Hall, Speke Hall, Williamsons Tunnels and Princes Road Synagogue. These buildings have been preserved as heritage monuments because of the rich history attached to them. The city is also home to a number of cathedrals serving different sects such as the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral for Catholics and the Liverpool Cathedral for Anglicans.
