Located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, King of Prussia borders the Schuylkill River to the north, Valley Forge National Historical Park to the west, and Bridgeport to the east. The King of Prussa community is unincorporated with a popluation of just under 19,000. The summers in King of Prussia are typically hot and muggy with an average temperature of 85F. The winter months are considerably cooler and dry with an average temperature of 27F.

Explore King of Prussia and local attractions by bus. The Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association provides shuttle services to the local communities and free services to local attractions.

Take a shuttle bus to the Valley Forge National Historical Park, which served as the 1777 -1778 winter encampment of General George Washington and his Continental Army. Start your visit at the Park’s Welcome Center where you will see historical exhibits and artifacts and gift shop! You take a self-guided tour of the Park or take one of the scheduled tours. The Valley Forge National Historical Park is easily accessible from King of Prussia by shuttle bus as the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Association offers free service to the Park, in efforts to reduce the amount of vehicles that access the Park. The shuttle bus service begins in May on weekends only. Starting June 1st the shuttle bus service runs seven days a week.

Visit the largest mall on the East coast, King of Prussia Mall. Boasting 3 million square feet of retail space, you can shop large department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, and JCPenney’s along with over 400 specialty stores an 40 restaurants. The Greater Valley Forge Transportation Association provides shuttle service to the mall and is also working with the King of Prussia Mall by offering free shuttle bus service during the holiday season.
