Fredericksburg - The city which had to endure the worst of tormenting Civil War in the 19th century, still stands, proud and whole, in the state of Virginia, a few 49 miles away from the US Capital, Washington DC. The city covers an area of 10.5 square miles and is home to over 22,900 people. Like most cities present in Virginia, the main race occupying Fredericksburg is that of the White Americans.

The city experiences hot and humid summers, whereas the winters are usually mild. Due to this high temperature, sports activities are relatively limited. However, a large number of tourists still flock in yearly to have a look at the enchanting historical and architectural sites. The house of President George Washington's mother present in Fredericksburg is a national treasure. The Fredericksburg Area Museum and Military Park are also often visited by people.
