Located in North-west Wales, the small town of Bethesda has the strikingly low population of just more than four thousand people, with the largest every Bethesda population having been recorded reaching a meager ten thousand mark. Despite having a small number of manufacturing businesses, the city does have a few service sector and hospital based businesses, most of them however are low paid and do not attract a lot of potential employees and therefore are doomed to being low scale.

With most of the houses and buildings being made out of slate, it can be very easily said that this small town is far from modern or state of the art. The only way possible to access this town is either by bus or by a private car, with bus being the much more preferable way due to less hassle and less cost.

However, the town still has a pretty active nightlife as it is noted for its large number of pubs, despite its small size and population. These bars are filled to the brim on weekends especially on public holidays and Sundays, with a few bars still accepting shillings and old pence as a method of payment, underlining the backward stature of the town. The small town has also given birth to many famous people, including the successful Welsh writer Mr. Caragod Prichard along with the rock band Celt and the lead singer of another very popular Welsh band.
